We’re a family-owned, locally-rooted design-build firm built on three principles: honest communication, thoughtful design, and a real respect for the homes we shape. From your first walk-through to your final reveal, one person owns the relationship.
No hidden fees. No surprise change orders. We’d rather lose the bid than win it deceptively.

Standard on every completed project. We stand behind the work, long after we’ve packed up.

Woodland took over a stalled bathroom project and got it back on track. We met with Tyrone to develop a plan that worked, and the end result far exceeded our expectations. The quality of the workmanship and attention to detail were exceptional. It’s now a highlight of our home.
We had our 1,250 sq ft unfinished basement completely remodeled, a full bathroom, two bedrooms, and a family entertainment room with a custom bar and luxury hardwood. Tyrone and Anna listened to our ideas and made the process stress-free. We absolutely love it.
We wanted a floor-to-ceiling pantry that looked original to the kitchen, and the match to our existing cabinetry is absolutely perfect. The custom pull-out drawers and hidden coffee bar are incredible. You truly cannot tell it was added after the home was built.

Portland home remodeling in 2026 typically ranges from $30,000 for smaller updates to $300,000+ for whole home renovations. Bathroom remodels start around $25,000, kitchens from $50,000, and full home renovations from $200,000. Costs depend on square footage, materials, and scope.
Yes – most Portland remodeling projects require permits, especially for structural, plumbing, or electrical changes. Woodland Construction Group handles all permitting and schedules city inspections so everything meets local code.
A design-build firm manages design, permits, and construction under one roof. This eliminates handoffs between separate architects and contractors that cause most renovation delays, keeps your budget consistent, and shortens the overall timeline. In 2026, with rising material costs and longer permit windows, integrated design-build is more efficient than ever.
Design 2-6 weeks, permitting 2-8 weeks, bathroom remodels 3-8 weeks, kitchen remodels 6-12 weeks, and whole-home renovations 3-9+ months. Portland permit timelines have stabilized in 2026 – projects that start design now can typically break ground within 60-90 days.
